Charlene Lanzel can perform her amazing, ambient sand animations live at your event… or create a custom sand animation video to your unique specifications.

Charlene performs her sand animations live at: gala events, opening or closing ceremonies, corporate events, conventions, trade shows, weddings, dinner parties, in theaters, at art events and much more. Charlene’s sand art can be integrated into: dance, concerts, advertising, storytelling, music videos and television projects. Bespoke performances can also be custom created to existing compositions or original musical scores. Custom live presentations or videos include your own imagery, logos and themes.

A minimum of 3 weeks lead time is required for custom animations. A signed contract and 50% deposit are required to hold the date and to start your custom project. Please book early to reserve your date! Charlene is currently based in Los Angeles, CA.

1. AMBIENT Live Sand Art Performances

AMBIENT Live Sand Art Performances are a combination of Charlene’s stock animations synched to a beautiful, dynamic soundscape with lots of mood. Ambient stories are performed as/is. Include a name, sentiment or simple logo of your choice at the end of the animation. Storyboards are available upon request.

10 Minute AMBIENT Live Performances:

“Wonderful World” = Jungle with animals, moon, stars, nature scenes, a world in your hands.

“Metamorphosis” = Butterflies, sunshine, milkweed, caterpillar transforms to a monarch.

“Love & Nature” = Lovers meet, a storm separates them, an emotional love story.

“Mermaid Dream” = Girl dreams, ocean, ship, flood, turns into a mermaid, finds a seashell.

“Green Genie” = Veil lifts, genie lamp appears, the green genie grants your wishes.

"Oyster Girl" = New Orleans legend, girl emerges from oyster shell each spring with her pearl.

"Vampire Love" = Dracula’s castle, maiden gets bit and turns, falls in love, bats fly, eye stares.

"Arachne’s Curse" = Girl smells roses, spider bites, she turns into a spider, web in her eye.

“Birthday Wonderland” = Alice and the Mad Hatter with a birthday cake. Make a wish!

“Winter Holiday” = Snowflakes, fir trees, iceskating, mountain skiing, snow & stars.

15 Minute AMBIENT Live Performance:

“Natural World” = Sunshine, castle, mountains, beaches, cityscape, space & rocket launch.

20 Minute AMBIENT Live Performance:

“Love & Nature” = Jungle with animals, cityscape, an emotional love story ending with sunshine.

25 Minute AMBIENT Live Performance:

 “Wonders of Nature” = Jungle animals, nature world, the Earth in hands, sunshine, castle, mountains, beaches, cityscape, space & rocket launch.

CHOOSE YOUR AMBIENT SCENES from Charlene’s stock imagery storyboards. The Ambient Combination option is great for galas, weddings, proposals, anniversaries, birthdays, dinners, art parties and more. Include a name, sentiment or simple logo of your choice at the end of the animation.

2. CUSTOM Live Sand Animations

CUSTOM Live Sand Animations are a new, different and exciting way to communicate your message. This bespoke sand art can be performed live at your event, or a sand art video of your custom piece can be created in HD for large screen viewing.

Charlene Lanzel creates custom sand animation stories just for you. Include memorable experiences, portraits, logos, branding, or beautiful scenes and themes of your choice… all synched to a custom musical soundscape.

Charlene could collaborate with your DJ or perform with a live band or orchestra. This requires advance planning and rehearsal.

Need a specific color for your branding or special event? Add the beauty of color...

ADD a SPLASH of a 2nd color!

A lot of effort goes into making a new custom sand animation... so, for your animation to be great, Charlene needs time to practice and memorize. Please provide all information for the project at least 3 weeks prior to the performance or date needed. A signed contract, along with 50% deposit, are required to hold your date and start your Custom project, prior to the 2 week deadline.

3. Custom Sand Animation VIDEOS

CUSTOM Sand Animation Videos are a refreshing way to tell your story. An .mp4 video of your custom sand animation can be created in HD for large screen viewing at your party, wedding, trade show or promotional event. Your video will be filmed in real time, but can be sped up in post production, for quicker viewing. Include memorable experiences, portraits, logos, branding, or beautiful scenes and themes of your choice… all synched to a custom musical soundscape. Please provide all information for the project at least 3 weeks prior to the date needed.

4. WEDDING Sand Art & Videos

Add special uniqueness to your wedding reception or dinner. Sand animation is a new, different and exciting way to tell your love story...

Sand Artist | Charlene Lanzel creates a memorable sand art story just for you, which adds a luxury element to your wedding event. Include portraits and shared experiences drawn in the sand, performed to a custom musical soundscape. Your love story comes alive with this unique live animation!

Charlene offers 3 options for live wedding sand art to suit your budget: Ambient, Combination (or) Bespoke.

PICK (1) COLOR: B/W, Gold, Cocoa, Red, Pink, Cran, Purple, Blue, Aqua or Green…

1) 10 minute Live AMBIENT WEDDING: This is the most economical option. Charlene performs a love story from her stock animation “Love & Nature” as/is, with the characters personalized to look like the wedding couple. (2-3 weeks lead time)

2) 10 minute Live COMBINATION WEDDING: This is a popular option. Choose scenes from Charlene's stock imagery storyboards. Did you meet at the beach, city or countryside? Choose your scenery, choose from personalized wedding scenes, and add a sentiment at the end. (3 weeks lead time)

3) Live BESPOKE WEDDING: This is the best option. Use your imagination! Tell your completely customized story in sand with scenes of your choice, including: portraits, beautiful scenes, memorable experiences, and more. At least 7 minutes custom animation is recommended to tell your story. (3+ weeks lead time)

Charlene's sand art can be performed LIVE at your reception or dinner...

and/or

(4) a SAND ART VIDEO of an Ambient, Combination (or) Bespoke animation can be created for large screen viewing at your event. An HD digital video file (.mp4) of your sand animation includes a custom musical soundscape which synchs with the artwork.
